I have a painful red bump on top of my right bottom gums. It looks like a very small red pimple and only hurts when I eat food. I have had it for 4 days and hasn't gotten any better. Im a teenager who hasn't gotten my wisdom teeth pulled (which is around the area where the bump is) and I have no clue what it can be. Please help.

  • The red bum in the wisdom tooth area can be erupting wisdom tooth. When the wisdom tooth erupts it ruptures the gum overlying it and is quite painful. You have to visit a dentist and get it checked and get xrays done to find out whether sufficient space is present for eruption of wisdom tooth. If sufficient space is not present then it is called as impacted wisdom tooth and in that case you have to get it pulled out from dentist.
