I HAD #30 TOOTH PULLED 2 DAYS AGO. NOT MUCH PAIN. WITH ALL THE WORRIES ABOUT DRY SOCKET OR INFECTION I NOTICE WHEN CHECKING FREQUENTLY TO BE SURE THE CLOT IS GOOD THAT A WHITE COVERING HAS BEEN DEVELOPING OVER THE TOP OF THE CLOT AND IS GETTING SOME WHAT SLIMEY? TO THE TOUCH OF THE TONGUE. I WANT TO SAY IT IS ALMOST LIKE A MUCUS COVER?? IS THIS A NORMAL PART OF HEALING??

  • You got the tooth extracted two days back. So stil you have to be careful, though your healing is normal but still for a week you should follow all the instructions given by your dentist.Keep doing warm saline rinses and maintain good oral hygeine donot drink any thing with the straw and avoid smoking.  For more info on do's and don'ts after tooth extraction you can browse our website.......... http://www.identalhub.com/article_do's-and-don'ts-after-tooth-extraction-153.aspx
