Dear Sir/Madam, Iam Sirisha aged 22, some of my front teeth have been done root canal canal treatment and covered with ceramic crowns. Sometimes i am having pain in those teeth. Please tell me whether root canal treatment can be done once again to the teeth which are done root canal treatment. Also my teeth are covered by crowns and the teeth underneath crowns are very small.Please write back to me. Thank u. Good Day.

  • Yes, root canal treated teeth can be treated again if they get infected and this treatment is called re root canal treatment . First by taing the X-ray's the dentist has to ascertain which teeth are infected and then after removing the crowns the re root canal treatment is done.
