  • In trigeminal neuralgia the pain is very specific and it has trigger zones. like if you touch or irritate that particular trigger zone then you have pain but  according to you the pain started after getting the root canal treatments so you can have second opinion because some times after root canal failure you have severe pain. But if the diagnosis is of trigeminal neuralgia then you should go to the specialist and get the proper treatment done. For trigeminal neuralgia along with alcohol injections there are ther options ike oral medication and the surgery.
