I am scheduled to have my wisdom teeth removed in 2 days, and I know that sedation will be used during the procedure. I have recently become concerned that I may be pregnant and want to take Plan B as a preventative measure. Would the Plan B affect or complicate the drugs used for sedation or the painkiller medicine I'd be given after the procedure?

  • First before going for any medical or dental treatment, you must confirm that whether you are pregnant or not. It is very important as the treatment and meds depends on that. If you are pregnant, you have to tell your dentist as drugs used  pre and post operatively varies. If your dentist feels that surgery can be carried out without complication, he will do it.
