I was without a tooth on the right side of my lower jaw for ~ 30 years. Could this be the cause of the slant of my eyes and difference in the cheek width?

  • If you have just one missing tooth then this cannot be the cause. If vertical height of face is maintained and teeth are in proper occlusion then there is no decrease in cheek width or the slanting of the eyes. The face deformity can be there only when multiple teeth loss is there and vertical is not maintained. If such is the cause then go for replacement of teeth either by dental implant or by dental bridge. You can visit your dentist and discuss options and cost and go for whichever suits you best.
