  • Normal teeth also donot have sensation or feeling. The outer layer of tooth which is called as enamel is non vital ie it is dead and does not have any sensation to hot and cold. The senation is there when the inner layer i.e. dentine is exposed. When veneers are given, before that tooth is reduced and after that you start having sensation but after putting of veneers you should not have any sensation and it is normal.
