my 7 year old son lost a front baby tooth. The tooth is hollow. The nerves are still in the socket. What do i need to do?

  • At 7 years of age if you have lost two front teeth that is normal. It must be the lower two front teeth. Its shedding time is 6 to 6 and half yeas.

  • At 7 years of age loosing front baby tooth is normal as this is the normal shedding time of front baby tooth. As the tooth is hollow that means the roots are resorbed and tooth was supposed to be replaced by adult tooth. The nerves which you are seeing are actually the raw socket and in this area the adult tooth will come out and it will take normally around 3-4 weeks and you donot need to do anything.
