My gums are sore underneath the other two molars the doctor extraced the wisdom teeth from the right side. The doctor said , i need a crown on my molar can i get away with another filling

  • If the decay is there and the cavity is quite big then it is better to go for the crown. If you opt for the filling it keeps on comoing out and chances of tooth exposure is there. As you have mentioned that the gums are sore that means the cavity is near the gums not on the eating surface.
