Hello, I am 25 year old man. My problem is my completely ruined teeth. Let me start from the beginning and saying I grew up in a very poor home in Philadelphia. I didn't have a tooth brush so as of now I pretty much don't have any full teeth in my mouth. They are all chipped and broken away. I have had emergency root canals on 3 different teeth but never got them capped and the fillings are gone. My front teeth are damaged to the point where they are cracking. I am embarrassed to even smile in public. I never smile in pictures and cover my mouth when I laugh to hide my teeth. I can't even eat correctly because I don't have many teeth in my mouth. I need some serious help with this. I am not looking for a quick fix and understand it is going to cost me dearly. I have to say I am still on the lower end of the income scale so my funding is very limited. I also have a son so you can imagine how hard it is with low income and a child trying to fix my teeth. I'm not even sure of the best road to take in fixing this problem. Any advice at this point is would be helpful whether it's an adequate insurance program to help with my funding or seeing some sort of specialist. I have to say I am very embarrassed to even see a dentist but I feel my health my start to decline somehow. Please I need your assistance. I thank you in advance for hearing my concerns and look forward to the feedback.

  • First of all you have to go t the dentist who will do the clinical examnation and take the X-ray's to assess the situation of the teeth in your mouth. he will evaluate which teeth can be saved and which has to be pulled out and then make a complete treatment plan. If you do not have the insurance then you can go to dental school near your home as the treatment is cheaper in dental school and it can be even free at times as they also need complicated cases for study purposes, however the treatment is absolutely perfect. In insurance there are no plans which cover existing problems like you in teeth. However for more info on dental insurance you can call the insurance company which may guide you the best insurance they have for you.
