I had undergone RCT for my teeth. The dentist told me to wait somedays before capping would be done. But even after RCT, i could feel sensation in that teeth. When i bite something it pains. Its been 6months since my RCT. my dentist intially gave some medicines which gave temporary relief. My question is that did he do the RCT correctly? What should i do now?

  • There should not be any pain or sensation after 6 months of the root canal treatment. Without seeing the X-ray's it is difficult to say whether the root canal is properly done or not. But your symptoms of pain and sensation indicates that there is some problem with the root canal treatment. You can visit your dentist and get the opinion. If it is not properly doner then re root canal can be attempted.
