A dentist have done a root canal on one of my teeth and she want to do another one on the other side of my mouth but i want to see another doctor to see if i really need one on the other tooth,but the dentists who have done my root canal told me that she have not send off for my crown yet she what to do the other tooth then send them off together? What can I do?

  • It is better to go for the crowning together on both sides after root canal treatment as if gives better results and the occlusion is adjusted properly. Before going for crowns, the dentist has to cut tooth and make moulds and if two crowns have to be given then moulds are made only once othewise the mould has to be taken again. If you want to get other root canal done from other dentist then you can get it done and then go for crown afterwards on both the teeth.
