I HAD BRACERS PUT ON MY UPPER TEETH TO PULL DOWN ONE OF THE FRONT TEETH THAT REFUSES TO COME DOWN. TWO WEEKS AFTER I AM HAVING A VERY SERIOUS PAIN IN MY GUM. WHAT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS?

  • When the braces are put to pull down the teeth the pressure is exerted on the tooth to pull it down. This pressur causes the pain in the surrounding structure including gums. So you do not have to worry .With time the pain will go when the gums get adjusted. but you have to be very sure to maintain very good oral hygeine and do not try to eat any thing hard and sticky.
