Hi, i had gum abscess and the dentist decided to have my tooth extracted.. it was then successfully done.. but the problem is I still experience having swollen face each time i do hard job (or even just lifting weights) .. it's just exactly the same when the tooth wasnt extracted...i feel like the abscess has gone through the inner gum already... what should i do?

  • You have not mentioned when the extraction was done. if it is more than a week then you should not have these symptoms. May be the adjacent tooth was also involved or when the extraction was done the socket was not properly cleaned and the infection is still there You should visit your dentist and get the X-ray done. If some other tooth is infected then that tooth is also treated and if the extraction socket is infected then the dentist will again open the socket and clean it.
