Last year I went to the dentist for the first time in years. When the dentist saw my upper jaw he told me that my gums in the inner side of my mouth in the back was swollen. My mouth as been like that for years and I thought thats just the way it was supposed to look. He also called it a type of gel and that I should go to a mouth and jaw specialist to cut it out. Do you have any more info of this and what is it, can it be dangerous?
