a 12 years old child presented with exfolaitin #55 no apparent infection or swelling and #15 not yet shoing clinicaly i told parents as a dentist that this is physiological and any discomphort should be tolerable but they insist for exo. shall i do it or wait tell a good reson for extraction should appear

  • If 55 is exfoliating and age is 12 than you don't need to worry. There are no chances of malocclusion...

  • There is need for spreading dental awareness among the parents. I think you should tell in brief the growth phenomena of primary and permanent teeth.
