Why does an orthodonist say you have to stay in the same location for two years?....how long will I be in surgery to correct an underbite?

  • Dentist wants you to stay at one place so that s/he can get a regular follow up of your progress report. And also there are situations where treatment can be changed, so if you are at an easy accessible area than it becomes easy for your dentist to co-ordinate.

Talking of the time, it depends upon the amount of mal-occlussion you are having and it varies form 24 to 30 months...for more info on orthodontic treatment you can visit the link....http://www.identalhub.com/articlecategory-braces-21.aspx
