I have soft, flexible, fleshy growths on what looks like my Wharton's Ducts on the bottom of my mouth. They just look like extra bumps of skin on both sides. They are not painful but it is bothering me because I know they haven't always been there. They almost resemble skin tags. Any idea what could be the cause?

  • The growth on the Wharton's duct can be due to some irritation. The exact cause is not known. You have to get it surgically removed but rate of recurrance is quite high. For this you have to visit a dentist and get a proper diagnosis made as after clinical examination and proper history the exact cause can pinpointed and treatment can be planned.
