I have had an emergency tooth extraction and 2 teeth crowned within the last two months. I have another tooth to be extracted and several other teeth to be filled and crowned. I had heard that dental problems can also affect your overall health such as immunity, fatigue, etc. How true is this?

  • Yes it is true that dental problem can affect overall general health as if the teeth are not healthy them proper mastication and digestion of food is not possible and the body will not get proper vitamins and supplements, which in turn does not immunity to body. If you are not taking proper diet  then your general health is automatically affected leading to fatique etc. So dental health is important for general health.
