three days ago, i suddenly noticed pain in my gum, on the left at the back of my mouth. there is no bleeding on its own or when i brush, no pus, no fever, but i now have pain on swallowing, pain in my inner ear and a mild headache. it isnt that swollen, just a bit. ive been taking ibuprofen, using a mouthwash twice daily, warm salt water intermittently as well, started vitamin c and zinc tabs today...any advice?

  • Generally pain in the back of my mouth accompanied with fever, headache are the symptoms of wisdom tooth eruption. Normally the symptoms disappear after the tooth is fully erupted but only if it comes in normal position. Wisdom tooth coming in an abnormal position required extraction. So, it is advised to get an Xray done and see its direction of advancement. Rest you are taking good care of your oral hygiene. You should keep it up. For more info visit the link...
