Upper front tooth has pain with anything cold. It smoothes out with warm water etc. My dentist do not see anything inflamed which requires Root Canal (X Ray). he carried out deep cleaning, local antibiotic application and bonding. I am still having same problem

  • Sensitivity to cold is either due to exposed dentine or root exposure. Sometimes enamel wearing causes this problem. You can keep on using desensitising toothpaste to block the dentinal tubules. If this does not give relief after 2-3 weeks of application then you  have to go for root canal treatment of the tooth.
