Tuesday I got a crown and root canal done on my two bottom back teeth. The temporaries don't hurt, but my cheek is slightly swollen and is a bit sore at the spot I got the numbing injection. What's going on? :(

  • It is normal to feel pain in the area where numbing injection is given for a day or two. This should go in couple of days. Just take care not to bite on that area untill it heals. If this pain and swellling does not go in 2-3 days then you must consult your dentist.
