i am 18 and one of my maxillary incisor is tilted outwards i wish to get braces to straighten it. but there is little crowdind in my teeth is interproximal reduction better than removal of teeth to make room?

  • Interproximal reduction for straightening the teeth is done when the space requirement is less. This has to be decided by doing analysis that how much space is required to staighten the teeth. If it is more then you have to go for extraction otherwise proximal slicing sometimes also serves the purpose.
