A few years ago I had braces and i wasn't happy with how they turned out, so I never wore my retainer. But now my teeth are worse, the tooth between my right front tooth (my right) and K9 is being pushed backwards by the K9 tooth next to it. My retainer still kinda fits though and I was wondering that it I started wearing it at much as possible would my tooth go back to normal?

  • Before starting to wear the same retainer it is better to schedule an appointment with your orthodontist as the setting is changed and teeth have relapsed. If you wear the same retainer, they can worsen the situation. Now for this first you have to get the braces again to align the teeth and after that you have to wear the retainer. If you donot want to wear removable retainer then after treatment you can opt for fixed retainers. for more info on retainers after braces you can check this article in our website.... http://www.identalhub.com/dental-permanent-bonded-retainers-after-braces-744.aspx
