If i have a tooth 15 that has a bad cavity, when to couple different dentist one said root canal and the other said even if i had a root canal it would eventually go bad and affect the tooth next to it,because the tooth 15 had some bone. One dentist suggest just extraction of tooth and other suggest that Impacts would be the best option. Please help I'm not sure which way is the best way to go!

  • It is better you go to a specialized oral surgeon and first get an Xray done. Only after Xray the diagnosis and treatment can be suggested. Going to different dentists will only bring confusion. What you can do from your side is to maintain a good oral hygiene by brushing twice daily, flossing and doing mouthwash gargles.

Also don't go for RCT or extraction at first instance. First ask for  a temporary filling and see that the repair work is going or not. After that only take the decision.
