I was tild that I have (internal reabsorption ?) of a tooth. I was also told that the only solution would be to remove the tooth. I am hoping that maybe there is another cure. What is internal reabsorption of a tooth? How does one get it? Why are there no symptions? Is there any way to fix the problem without losing a front tooth? Please help since the dentist was not very helpful. Many Thanks

Internal resorption is when because of some infection or trauma the pulp chamber becomes wide and there is resorption from inside the tooth. If perforation has occurred then the tooth can not be saved it has to be pulled out. But if perforation has not taken place then it can be root canal treated. It is also called as the Pink Tooth.
