I am a bit skeptical whether I require a root canal or not, an X-ray revealed a cavity with a thin line going around 70% towards the end.

  • It is difficult to give the advice without seeing the X-ray and the clinical examination. if you have cavity and it is deep and you have symptoms like hot and cold sensation or pain while mastication then you have to go for the root canal teatment but before that you should be sure about the prognosis of the tooth.
