I noticed a small black dot on my gum line. I dip a can of wintergreen tobacco a week and have been for 2 years now. The dot appeared where I usually place my dip. So is this a sign of cancer or just irritation?

  • without clinical exanmination it is difficult to comment on the lesions in youe case. It is advisable to go to the dentist and get the diagnosis made. If needed the dentist will do the biopsy. So schedule an appointment with your dentist ASAP
