  • If you are experiencing pain and tenderness in broken tooth,we strongly recommend you find an emergency dentist to protect the tooth from breaking further and avoid any subsequent pain.Apply some toothpaste on the dried broken sensitiive tooth so that fluoride within the toothpaste will help reduce the sensitivity until you are able to see the dentist.Stick to a soft liquid diet to reduce pressure on the tooth. There are various options to fix a broken tooth. It is important that this is done by a dental professional and the options to fix the broken tooth will depend upon the size of the break. A tooth filling is used to fix breaks to the outer part of the tooth (the enamel). A dental filling may also be used for a more serious break involving the enamel and inner layer of the tooth (dentin), but often a dental crown is necessary in these cases. The most serious breaks are those that damage a tooth's nerve. These usually require a root canal to remove the damaged nerve and blood vessels. For more info, visit the link http://www.identalhub.com/article_signs-and-symptoms-of-the-cracked-tooth-206.aspx
