  • First you should get an xray done to find out if there is any part left of the extracted tooth. If not then it can be periodontal problem. Sometimes the distal pocket is formed in the last tooth which causes the formation of lump in wisdom tooth area. However it is difficult to give any diagonosis without clincal exam and xrays.
