  • Swelling in the roof of the mouth can be because of gum infection or by trauma or the food lodgement. Some times when you eat some thng hard or bite from the front teeth the gum between the front teeth is traumatized and is swollen. Or it can be because of the poor oral hygeine. You have to visit the dentist to find out the exact diagnosis as with out clinical examination we can not comment on this. Till then you can do warm saline rinses 2to 3 times a day and maintain very good oral hygeine.
