What is the white line growth that surrounds the top of my left bottom wisdom tooth. It's like there's not enough room for the skin. It's painless. Does this sound serious? I'm 38. My wisdom teeth are fully in I think. I've smoked and chewed off and on for a long time.

  • There can be various causes of white line. Sometimes the white line is at the level of where the upper and lower teeth meet each other, at that level the cheek has white line which is called as occulsal line also. This is just normal but it can be white lesion also which can due to smoking or chewing and that can be submusousfibrosis which can be dangerous. So for proper diagnosis you have to go to dentist and get it checked. for more info on oral lesions you can check this article.... http://www.identalhub.com/articlecategory-oral-lesions-65.aspx
