  • Normally the swelling and pain in gums is due to  poor oral hygiene that can lead to gum diseases. Stress can aggrevate the problem but it is not the only cause. For this you have to go to dentist who will take full series xray and find out the cause of problem. The treatment options will depend on cause. It can vary from deep scaling SCRP to gum surgery. Till you visit a dentist, try to maintain good oral hygiene and do warm saline rinses 2-3 times a day. for more info on gum diseases you can check this link  in our website... http://www.identalhub.com/articlecategory-gum-diseases-9.aspx
