I've had a dental implant before @ a cost of 4000. I have another missing tooth. I'd like to get another implant as opposed to a bridge, as the teeth on either side have fillings. Are there any problems with mini implants? Can you please compare them with regular implants? Thank You

  • No, as such there are no problems with mini implants owing to their increased popularity. Mini implants acts as a tooth root replacement and its prime function is tooth root replacement. Infact mini implants can be used as an alternative for conventional dental implants for replacement of a single tooth.

The prime factor for the growing popularity of mini implants is their low cost. They are 60 % cheaper than conventional implants and also their placement only takes around two hours as compared to conventional implants that  requires two stages for their placement.
