I STARTED DOING RCT OF LOWER RIGHT CENTRAL INCISOR,AS IT WAS TENDER ON PERCUSSION AND PERIAPICAL ABSCESS WAS PRESENT.THE BUR WENT MESIALLY TO THE CANAL.SO I'M NOT ABLE TO LOCATE CANAL CLINICALLY.ALSO TELL ME WHAT TO BE DONE WITH THE MESIAL CANAL CREATED BY ME?

  • You can refer the patient to an Endodontist but if perforation is there then prognosis is very poor. You can try putting MTA in the canal which is created by you and try to locate the original canal whichi is centrally located. If the patient responds well then you can do obturation of the main canal but if prognosis is poor then tooth has to be extracted.
