I have chipped my tooth 3 times so far, and i went to the dentist this time and he said i have to wait until I'm 16 to get a crown or whatever on my tooth? Is this true or is there a way i can get it repaired before that?

  • If the crown has to be given on a tooth one is advised to wait for the age of 16 years because by that age the crown is developed fully and the chances of exposure of the tooth is also less. That is why your dentist has advised you to wait for the age of 16 years. If you want to go for the crown before that you can have but that will be temporary one and has to be changed afterwards. It is better till then you get the fractured part built by composite and atfer wards take care so that it won't chip again.
