  • If you are in late teens or early twenties and feel pain and difficulty in opening your mouth and have swelling and headache then these are symptoms of wisdom teeth growing in and the most probable cause for these problems is that you have impacted wisdom tooth trying to grow in. The wisdom tooth grows in after your last 12 year molar. Because of decreasing size of jaw due to evolution the problem of impacted tooth is more as they do not get enough space in jaw to grow in and when they try to grow in gums they cause severe pain and swelling in gums. and other symptoms. For the sake of practicality, it is best if you have a dental appointment to check on the health of your wisdom teeth. They will also recommend medication that can reduce the pain that you may feel after the operation. You do not have to worry much because the dentist will surely give you all the information that you will need for assessment. In the mean time, maintain good oral hygiene and try to avoid food accumulation in that area.Rinse your mouth with warm saline water 2-3 times a day.
