For HIV to spread through kissing, you must have an open sore, and so must your partner. HIV is transmitted through body fluids passed from one person to another. The one who is infected must have an outlet of some sort to pass the virus, and the other must have a way to receive the virus, such as a sore, split lip, scratch etc, HIV is found in saliva, but the concentrations are small and saliva actually has properties that neutralize (kill) HIV.So while kissing is not generally how it is spread, and you would normally be at no risk.
