I have always had a sucking tongue which is always done unconsciously. This is now very bad that it has given me bad smiles. I have a large gap in my front teeth especially at the lower level. I want to know how to first stop the tongue issue, and how long will it take to give me a good smile. Am not sure if this is infact possible. I am 40.

  • For getting good smile first you have to stop the habit of tongue sucking. See your dentist for this. He will tell you some exercises and also give you an appliace to wear. This appliance will help you in stopping the tongue sucking habit.after that you can go for braces treatment to treat the gap and any discrepencies which are there.
