For the last few weeks I have been experiencing pain throughout my arms and legs. Is it possible for a dental problem and pain to cause this pain in other areas of my body?

  • To answer your question about whether or not you can get pain elsewhere in body because of dental problem, unless you have an infection in your tooth, a sinus infection, migraine, endocarditis or joint pain near your ear (TMJ) it is unlikely that your tooth is the source, but you need a professional to look at you to make that determination. The most important thing for you to do is to see your dentist so that they can tell you what is actually wrong. Remember, if his or her diagnosis is in fact, extraction you could ALWAYS seek a second opinion! Good luck and don’t delay any longer. Take care.
