  • Some times there is bony prominences or after extraction  bony spicules are left which causes difficulty in the adjustment of the dentures. In such cases bone augmentation is done. In which the excess bone is filed. This gives rounded appearence to the alveolar ridge and the dentures fits easily and retention is also good.
