5 years ago I had a root canal done and didnt have insurance or the money to get a cap put on , now a few months ago the filling fell out and two days ago in sleep I woke to find that the inside part of the tooth has caved , What should I do without insurance just have the tooth removed, and how much time do I have ? thanks

  • It is better to save a tooth then to extract it. So, i would advise to get the capping done over the tooth. Ideally you should have got the crowning done immediately post RCT but anyways you can get it now also. The only difference is that doctors need to reshape your tooth a bit more. Regarding insurance, you can seek help of CARE CREDIT. As per CARE CREDIT, they will bear the whole cost and you can return them the money in easy montly installments.
