I am going to get like 9 cavitys filled & root canals and all that and I have extremely sensitive teeth. And the last time I got a cavity filled, the grill they used and the water and all that had my teeth so sensitive I couldn't stand it, and they numbed me and it didnt work that good, i felt everything & what should I do ? Is there anyway the dentist can make it not sensitive during the process of filling them?

  • Normally when the teeth are numbed, you donot feel any sensitivity in teeth during the procedure. But if even after numbing you teeth were sensitive then you can discuss this with your dentist and you can opt for concious sedation. for more info  on problems after dental filling you can check this link in our website... http://www.identalhub.com/dental-types-of-tooth-pain-after-dental-filling-814.aspx
