I recently had a permanant crown cemented on after being in a temp crown for 10 months. The dentist just rinsed with water before cementing. I am worried about bacteria under crown. He stated the FujiCem would kill any bacteria that was there. Please let me know if I should be concerned about this. Thank you.

  • You dentist is right and there is no need to get panicked as the tooth was already temp crowned so chances of bacterial infection are not there and moresoever he has rinsed with water. After cementation with fujicem the bacteria if it is there, cannot grow. So need not worry and maintain good oral hygiene and follow all the instructions given by your dentist. for more info on dental crowns you can check this link in our website.... http://www.identalhub.com/articlecategory-dental-crowns-72.aspx
