Its been 50 hours since I had tooth pulled would I know I inhad drysocket

  • Dry socket occurs within 24 hours as it happens due to dislodgment of the clot on tooth extraction site. If you donot have any pain or swelling at the extraction site then you may not be having dry socket  as after 50 hours the clot is quite stable and healing starts. Still that does not mean that you donot have to follow all the precautions given by dentist as chances of secondary infection are still there.
