I have a fairly small red circle towards the tip of my tongue. It does not hurt, bleed or feel any different than the rest of my tongue and it has been there for about 2 weeks without changing shape or size. I also do not have any pain when swallowing or when eating spicy foods. What could this be?

  • It can be geograhic tongue which sometimes is there. It is not painful and there is no treatment or cause of it. It just appears and disappears itself or keep on changing the place. But deifinate diagonosis can only be made after clinical exam and history. So schedule an appointment with dentist and maintain good oral hygiene in the meanwhile and donot try to irritate it. for more info on tongue problems you can check this link  in our website.... http://www.identalhub.com/article_abnormalities-of-tongue-238.aspx
