I am wondering how I can get a valid 2nd opinion on this since my current Dentist has recently taken Xrays and another set will not be covered by my insurance - Can another Dentist make a determination without them (and/or is is OK to ask for my xrays from current Dentist?)

  • Without xrays and only with clincal examination, it is dfficult for dentist to give a decision for changing the crowns. You need to get the xrays done. You can ask current dentist for the xrays as you have paid for that. If the insurance is not covering the second opinion then you can try to buy out some coupons for dental checkup from websites like groupon which come fairly cheap and you can get second opinion. for more info on dental crowns you can read this link in our website.... http://www.identalhub.com/articlecategory-dental-crowns-72.aspx
