For the past few days, the gum behind my last bottom left molar and last top left molar have been swollen. It is painful and sensitive to touch. It feels like there is a tooth under there so could it be my wisdom teeth? I'm almost fifteen.

  • Normally the wisdom teeth come at the age of 18-25 years of age but it is very common that they even come very early or very late. So it is possible that the swelling is due to eruption of wisdom tooth. For this now you have to schedule a visit to your dentist who will do clinical exam and take xrays to check for this. if the space in gums is sufficient for eruption of wisdom teeth and angulation is right then you have to wait, othewise you will need to get them extracted. for more info on wisdom teeth you can read the following article in our website for complete info....  http://www.identalhub.com/dental-knowing-all-about-wisdom-teeth-719.aspx
