Hi There, I feel like I’m at a crossroad here with my teeth. I just had to have my tooth extracted #19. I have crowns on both sides of that tooth. Crown #18 is 5 years old and crown #20 is almost 10 years old. Does it make sense do the one implant knowing that the other crowns will need to be replaced? I’m also having some sensitivity on one of my upper teeth. My concern is putting out $3,500 for one implant vs. the bridge. I have the bone graft in place now and I can go either way. Looking forward to you opinion. Thanks, Julie

  • If you have crowns on both the sides of the teeth which has been pulled out then it is better you go for fixed bridge. But before that you ahve to make it certain that both the teeth are in good condition. If in any way they are weak and can not be good abutment then it is better to go for the implant.
