I have had this tiny hard white dot on my gum for ten years or more and still looks the same it is hard like extra tissue on my front gums along the side of the tooth's root. It is like a very small growth. My dentist has never been concerned about it but I wonder what it is

  • Did you had any dental treatment in the past like RCT or dental filling? I suggest you to visit your dentist ASAP as it requires manual examination before coming to any diagnose. There are chances of infection like periapical cyst or kind of abscess.

Your dentist will first shoot an X-Ray around the infected region to confirm the diagnosis and he may put you in some antibiotics after the appropriate treatment....http://www.identalhub.com/articlecategory-abscessed-tooth-55.aspx
